Christmas Creek Droughtmasters was established by Bradley and Kerryn Piggott in 1989 as a family owned operation in the foothills of the Carnarvon Ranges. "Christmas Creek" is located approximately 220km north of Roma and 200km south-east of Emerald in the Central Highlands region of Queensland.
Our herd is bred on native grass ranges and finished on softwood scrub country to meet domestic and export markets. For 30 years we have been stringently selecting our herd for temperament, fertility, natural tick & fly resistance and foraging ability. Our bull breeding program services our 1500 commercial breeder base as well as a stud operation of 150 females. Christmas Creek Cattle Company has been Cattlecare accredited since 2005 and are independently audited annually. This assures the quality of the bulls offered and our high standards. Christmas Creek Droughtmasters is also proud of our long history with Beef Australia, our commercial cattle have been consistently awarded Expo after Expo. |
